I only know two other people in the whole junior class that didn't completely loathe this book.
I absolutely LOVED it. The Scarlet Letter? The characters were amazing.. haha Dimmesdale was pretty much the best
if you couldn't tell. I doodled this yesterday when I was supposed to be outlining my essay on a theme from the novel.
I love this scene from the beginning, though.. when he's forced to publicly tell her that she should confess? ABOUT HIM?
classic stuff right there.
I'll be scrapping this?

He is so weak and submissive and I think that's why I liked him... Hester had the pants in this relationship. He just squeals like a little anime girl. 😂 I love dimmesdale so much I'm dirry

I feel sad when my awesome Brony friends hate Dimmesdale just because he is a coward. Such is having friends that are unsympathetic dudes.(at least towards characters). Hopefully I can find some peoples else in my class that also love Dimmesdale.

Finished this book, like, an hour ago... GREATEST THING EVER. Dimmesdale was my fav character... I don't really know why but I love him.

I love how you imagine the characters! I can't get any distinct features in my mind. Awesome work!
I'm almost finished with this book. At first I hated it just because I wasn't going to get credit for reading it, but I'm forced to admit that I'm really getting into it. 
Looking back on this scene makes me want to crack up with the irony of it all!

I just read this book yesterday! (Yeah... I didn't have much else to do....) Anyway, I love the way that you've done their faces. The expressions are perfect.
Poor Dimmesdale... he's really a wimp, but I feel so sorry for him....

Chillingworth was, quite simply, a jerk. I mean, it must have been hard for him to return to find his wife... in the position she was in, but still! It's no reason to dedicate the remainder of your life to the torture and ruin of a poor, already guilt-stricken minister... under the guise of a 'friend', no less!
And I agree... even in his wimpiness, Dimmesdale is so... easy to like. I mean, he's so earnest... an earnest hypocrite? I don't know. But I like him a lot, too.
