Well, here was my thoughts when I first saw this...
What is she holding? ...Nothing?
What's she standing on? ...Nothing...
STRINGS! there must be strings?? But attached to what?
So.. Did you set the timer just right so that you could jump and it catch you in midair... Or was there a branch there that you craftily and flawlessly photoshopped out??

haha no it really wasn't difficult.
for self-portraits i always use the ten-second timer on my camera,
and then i just went out and jumped when i thought it would catch it at its best.
i had to take a bunch of pictures to get a good one.

That's what I usually do, and go through and fill up my camera in one day... I only find one good picture in each 50 or so that I take... I haven't really had the time or patience for a while though. Your hand looks like you might have been holding something so that's why I was looking for something holding you up. That picture is just perfect.
