Pokemon Sun has been a big source of inspiration for me lately. I love the idea of humanized, gijinka pokemon. I think looking at pokemon and trying to translate their visual characteristics into human form is a really fun activity that challenges you to be creative and different. As winter time approaches, this is how I decided to portray Drifloon. I love Drifloon's simple design and always thought it was a memorable pokemon.

This past month, I bought a new sketchbook and have been trying to make time to sit down and draw several times a week. It probably doesn't help that I reinvent my art style every time I sit down, but I feel like I learn something new every time I draw and color. Hope to upload here more regularly, which I feel like I say every time I upload.
