Incidentally, and this may only be coincidence, but knowing that Bryan Konietzko is a big fan of the anime Gurren Lagann, and that guren can be written in Japanese as ็ด…่“ฎ, meaning "Crimson Lotus" or "Red Lotus"... I wonder...
