Long Version: Waffle arrived at the pet store that I was working at for a short time, I fell in love with him, but he was bought before I could properly accommodate him at home. I got Bruce a month or so later, and at some point Waffle's owner came back and told me that his daughter wasn't taking proper care of him, and remembered that I took a liking to him.

He was a really nice guy, and I helped him move, in exchange for Waffle and all the stuff he had bought for him (minus the cage). Waffle was very fat, because his daughter had been feeding him some table scraps, and when he'd go flat on the ground, he rounded out, almost like a disc. Hence the name "Waffle". Bruce and Waffle got along so well from the get-go, they might as well have been from the same litter, but I doubt that they are due to the fact that...

Short Version: Bruce and Waffle arrived in subsequent shipments, from the same company, at the same pet store. There is a fairly good chance that they are somehow related, but the chances of them being brothers is kind of slim. I believe they were born about a month or so apart. I like to believe they're cousins.

They probably are cousins XD and they seems very close to each other. Does the company that supplied them to you have a website?

Bruce is a bit smaller, has a slightly smaller head in proportion to his body (he's a bit chunky, because he's so lazy), and he has a little bit of dark coloring on his tail.

Their personalities/behaviours are quite different too.

For example, Waffle is the more intelligent one, and he's got some really funny habits. For example, he'll dunk his head underwater if you present him with a bowl of water, in order to wash his face thoroughly, especially before eating. Also, he loves to flat on the ground, and just watch you (which combined with his original chunkiness when we first got him, contributed to his name).

If you get Bruce really excited, he'll sometimes roll on his back and grab his back feet with his front feet and roll back-and-forth with his mouth open. It's so adorable. He also waddles more when he walks, and he likes to stare at you with his head upside down, even if it means facing away from you, and leaning all the way back. He's a bit... special; but we love him to pieces for it.

You'd get used to the differences within a day or two.
