Description Christmas-dump # 3: A classic vampire <3<3<3

~ 'Herbert von Krolock' is the son of the mysterious and powerful bloodsucker 'Count von Krolock',
appearing in the 1967's horror-comedy Dance of the Vampires (or Night of the vampires) by Roman Polanski.
Herbert is played by actor Iain Quarrier. ~

During christmas-visit at my parents, I also spent many a wonderous midwinter-nights at my sisters house, watching movies like there were no tomorrow llLD
One night my sister simply couldn't stay awake, but wanted me to stay so she could sleep on the couch(she finds it very cosy to sleep on the couch while someone is watching tv nearby).
So, I had free range of picking what movie to watch,
and I could not stay away from this oh so interesting vampire-comedy that she just bought but not yet seen ll8D

It was fabuleous! You should ALLL watch it!!!

Herbert was a most funny character and he looked so scary and classically vamirey deady beauty:ish <3 There was no stopping me from drawing him the rest of the night when I had gone home to sleep lllD

Enjoyyyy~~

I'm very happy you like it
Though I don't feel entirely comfortable with getting it posted to a blog I don't know, and especially where I can't read what's said around it (I can't read russian ), so sorry You can post a link to the drawing in my gallery if you give me some credit for the work in the same time. I hope you understand c:;

It's very cool seeing some movie!Herbert art. Most artists- myself included- only ever seem to draw the long-haired musical version.

Ooh, yeah I heard somewhere (very recently) that there were a musical too. Cool.
So is the musical better then the movie then, or is Herbert just prettier with long hair? XD;;
and thanks for the comment ^^ <3

I personally prefer the musical, actually, and particularly how adorably odd-looking Herbert tends to be.

Thank yuuu<3<3<3 And yes, do watch it - it's (as said) AWSOME C;

thihii you little sneak <3 I have actually been listening to Lestat-musical-music for about two weeks straight now, over and over and over again, all day long. My favourite song is Crimson Kiss - it's so fabeolous!! It's a wonder that Maria and Gabbi didn't kill me yet because I sing along and I sing loudly XD;;
I'm sure, when I start reading the books again, more fanart will come naturally ;d

Hehee, it's sooo good! I think my fav song is After all this time when Armand gets all gloating against poor Lestat, nihehehe.
Crimson kiss is very good too! I can hear the song creeping up in my skull just thinking of the title... "My son so dear, the world out there, mystery calls and I can not resist!"

Fair warning: Memnoch the Devil is a slow book. It's interessting because it involves god and angels (and memnoch) it gets a little bit boring from time to time. Och så blir man lite extra rädd för sin mens efter det att man läst boken Hahah

Ah, that one is really good too, yes!!
