This is going to sound odd, but I think you did a great job on her teeth -- they, ni general, always give me a hard time so I tend to notice them in the work of others.

Thank you very much for your comment and kind words, Spacegryphon!
I'm glad you like her facial anatomy, expression and the shading. As for my secret to blending the pencil strokes so smoothly - in short, it's patience. Her skin is drawn entirely with my mechanical pencils with 2B (and occasionally 4B) Ain Stein lead. The lead is excellent as far as blending is concerned, which helps a lot, but the other half is that I work with very light circular pencil strokes that I blend (fingers or paper blending stump) in many layers. Many repetitions of "circling - blending - circling - blending". Oh, and the paper. I have taken to exclusively working on extra smooth Bristol Board because of how evenly and smoothly the pencil blends on it.
And the fingers - yes, they are a bit too small. I've become quite good at drawing faces, but hands and other body parts are a different matter still. I need more practice, I think, and some anatomy studying. I'll definitely work on it, though.
Thanks again for your comment!

Hello Professor! Thank you very much for your detailed feedback.
I'm happy to hear that my silly spur-of-the-moment idea of having Ciri play her own game is enjoyable to look at, as I did put a lot of work into executing it well. I was actually quite nervous about that strand of hair that goes down in front of her eye because it's was one of those bold moves with the eraser after everything was nearly finished that could have totally messed everything up if it didn't work. Therefore it's a real relief to me to hear that the strand of hair is actually adding to the appeal of the drawing!! Phew, thanks for that!! I also put quite a bit of work into the textures of the clothes (armour) she's wearing, so yay for it paying off!
And on the left (or Ciri's right), those 'clouds' you spotted... well, let me say they're not supposed to be clouds. Just shadow and light stripes cast by the window off to the right's blinds onto a wall behind her. BUT... and that's a real issue... I'm right handed, so while i work with my right hand, I hold the paper down with my left. I try to touch the bristol board as little as possible and wash my hands repeatedly throughout drawing to keep them grease-free... but it keeps happening that over the course of many hours the paper collects invisible fingerprints there. Invisible until I draw the background, that is. Even the tiniest trace of grease will then start to show and the graphite will cling to the paper unevenly no matter the amount of blending. The result looks like clouds. I haven't found a solution for that yet. Maybe I should try to find a light cotton glove for my left hand, as no amount of care so far has succeeded in keeping the dreaded clouds away. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll try to find a solution for that issue! If you have any ideas you'd like to share, you're also most welcome to!!
And of course thank you for the fave! Have a wonderful day, too.

I know this will sound overly simplistic but have you ever tried turning the page upside down. I draw lots of things upside down. Also I am now learning to work left side of the paper to the right side because I too am right handed. I am completing sections at a time moving from the upper left towards the top center towards the top right , then the middle in the same pattern and then the lower third of the drawing that way I complete my drawing in the lower right third corner. Also, tracing paper over the completed part of the drawing can work as well. Hope some of this helps. Keep it up though your work is terrific. You'll figure something out that works for you yet.

My page turns rotates ever so often during the drawing process, but most commonly it's facing the right way up or right or left. Upside down is usually what I do for the background only, as for facial features it seems to risky not to see exactly what I'm doing (my mind struggles interpreting facial features correctly upside down). I'm sure I'll figure something out in time. Maybe I need not only a paper under my right wrist to prevent smudging, but also one under my left fingers to prevent fingerprints.

wonderful deviantion ^^, I specifically love the hair and the scar, the way you did that gives her a lot of personality, her eyes holds a strong expression, and her playing the game is a good idea, the highlights and shading are very well done, and it looks like you took a lot of time to perfect this drawing, one thing you can maybe fix is her eyebrows, it looks good but one is a little bit lower than the other, maybe it's something you wanted I don't know, and maybe try to do a larger version, like chest shot, or something, the drawing will look better, well it's only my point of view
good luck for the continuation

I got what you're trying to say, it's true, sometimes it's not easy to draw small detailed faces in the paper, but we should try that eventually, it will make it a new challenge ^^
regarding the eyebrow part to make it looks like she's raising it on purpose, you can add some folding effects in her eyebrows, a small one on her forhead, on the top of her lifted brow and another one in between her brows, good luck, and don't forget, nobody's perfect, you need to have fun first
you're a wonderful artist just keep it up

I've seen the result, well, it's not bad at all, trust me when I say the first attempt is always the hardest ^^
it was the same when I started digital art more than 4 years ago ^^
