Description
The Cardassians attack the Enterprise because they think it is part of an attack on the Union, as Captain Benjamin Maxwell has already destroyed several Cardassian ships and outposts in a single-handed campaign of revenge. The Enterprise then flexes its muscles to get the Cardassians to talk.

Hm...and that fact opens up a huge can of worms about the Galaxy-class starship and whether it really is that capable of a warfighter. Not to mention the reaction to it I would have from a Cardassian point of view if someone sent a giant fucking cruise ship full of civilians and children to fight in a war against soldiers: “You want to complain about Setlik II when you deliberately endanger whole families by dragging them into war when you are supposed to keep them on the home front and protect them?! Yup, more evidence as to why we are culturally superior.”
Pretty sure that is how the Cardassians would have reacted based on the culture of family values and major propaganda and indoctrination they have.
I get the feeling the Feddies FINALLY learned their lesson about children on starships after getting their asses handed to them by the Borg, the Dominion, and other random stuff like an angry Iconian computer virus multiple times within a 10-year time span though. ::eyeroll::
