The Enterprise is thrown back into 2020 by an accident. Shortly after arriving, the USS Enterprise was captured by a U.S. Air Force fighter.

it always kills me how when a fighter pilot went to intercept the Enterprise at high altitude, THEY COULD NOT READ THE MARKINGS ON THE HULL!. You're supposed to have 20 20 vision and yet you can't read 'U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A" (in this instance) stamped on the lit sides of the nacelles

This could be an episode and I would like to see Kirk dealing with the 21st century earth.

there is an episode where they used a tractor beam to hold the plane but crushed it and they had to do some trickery to get him back into the timeline when they found out he was part of kirk's familiy line. so without him there would be now kirk. but this is a point a view that fits perfectly into the episode. only from the fight pilots perspective.

Archer did that. They went back to WWII-era in New York with time-traveling reptilian aliens trying to win the war for Germany and if successful would take power for themselves and eradicate the Germans after using them to fight the war for them.

I never liked Archer, I was more of an Inspector Gadget fan.

Wait, which Archer are you talking about?! I meant STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE, Captain Jonathon Archer. Yes, I prefer ARCHER, as in Stirling Archer. Inspector Gadget has nothing to do with STAR TREK. Doctor Claw maybe Archer's father. We have yet to find out who his real father is and i hope we find out before the series ends.

Archer just had Season 10 ending and THAT was supposed to be the final original episodes. BUT the fans wrote in letters (snail mail) and sent Emails, got petitions signed to ask FXX for more seasons and now Season 11 is being animated for release towards the end of the year, maybe in mid-November if we are lucky. We are also asking for a season 12, but who knows IF that will happen. They left the final episode of season 10 as a wrap-up that COULD lead to more episodes but the creator, Adam (I can't think of his last name) said he only wants to do the show more IF what he and the other writers come up with is still funny. He doesn't want to just do it for money but he wants a good high quality set of shows for each season. He wants it to be good. I hope we find out who Archer's Father is by the time they do really end the series. I suspect it was some super secret Cold War British Agent like James Bond, of course.
