Where to begin with this image. I've held onto this image for over 2 years now. It wasn't only until recently when I really sat down and stared at it before editing it that I made a connection between a love letter I wrote my wife before we got married. I was then motivated to sit down and finally edit this. The letter I wrote her wasn't about love and it wasn't about our relationship per se. It was about stuff a lot deeper than that. This image isn't happy and it's not supposed to be. It's a very personal image for both of us as individuals. It's not an image reflecting the status of our marriage, like I said, it's a lot deeper than that.

I am but a tree, you are my mountain, and for an eternity I have walked beneath your endless calamity.........

This was taken on the North side of Mt. Shasta during an intense sunset with a Lenticular formation. Please comment below with your thoughts! I hope you can take something away from this image personally as well!
