Nobufusa Yamato, vassal of the Uesugi Clan, former vassal of the Takeda Clan.

He and his Quilava had been through some hard times between today and the battle at Nagashino, having lost their best friends and leader. They had taken refuge with Kenshin and his army, helping other clans fight sgainst Nobunaga, even winning at one of his allies castles near Avia, belonging to the Date. However one year later, Kenshin had fallen ill when making preparations to fight in Dragnor, causing a civil war between the Uesugi Clan 2 sons. Both Nobufusa and Kanetsugu Naoe, the young page to Kenshin, belived Kagekatsu, the son of Aya, sister of Kenshin, instead of Kagetora, adopted from the Hojo family.

After Kagekatsu becamed leader however, Nobunaga was betrayed by Mitsuhide Aketchi, a trusted vassal of the Oda, at Dragnor, and aftewaritjs Hideyoshi Hashiba, later Toyotomi, avenged Nobunaga by taking out Mitsuhide at Nixstorm. Afterwards Hideyoshi decided to cconquer Ransei for peace. At Ueda Castle near Terrera, Takeda former stronghold, Tokugawa Ieyasu, who was allied with Hideyoshi, attacked Ueda. The Uesugi, being allies with the Sanada, joined up with Yukimura and Masayuki Sanada. Nobufusa and his Quilava was part of the defence, though they didn't get a chance to meet up with Yukimura. The defence was largely successful, however the Sanada and the Uesugi were forced to a treaty with Hideyoshi for protection.

By 1590 the Toyotomi clan, after taking out Hojo and their armies at Yaksaw and Cragspur, had unified Ransei, however in 1599, Hideyoshi had disappeared in a voyage due to sabotage,. All the blaim seemed to go onto Ieyasu, who once fought against Hideyoshi in 1584. The one who blamed him the most was Mitsunari Ishida, Hideyoshi page and strategist, and build an army centered around the South in Ignis, Hideyoshi former base. In 1600, Mitsunari attacked the Aurora castle, an Tokugawa stronghold in the south and so begins the battle between the Tokugawa forces and the Southern Army.

Sekigahara, Southern Army Main Camp

"Man I hate this fog, making me tense." Said Nobufusa as the fog around Sekigahara were making things less visible, the only source of light were the torches around the camp and the fire type pokemon that some warriors have, including his Quilava. He and his Quilava had been sent here on behalf of Kanetsugu and Lord Kagekatsu, the former being friends with Mitsunari. The two were busy at Avia, battling against the Date forces, so they could only send in a few troops.

Mitsunari then readied the troops and made a speech
"I will say this, there are some battles that must be fought, the desire each of us has to protect which hold dear to our hearts, my friends called that honor! With the honor that holds dear in our hearts, we will protect the peace. Forward, protect the peace with our honor!!!" "YEAH!!!" Yelled the troops and pokemon as they charged down the plains of Sekigahara.

The battle was going well at the beginning, with Nobufusa and Quilava defeating several Troops and Pokemon, however...
"Augh!!! I can't Mitsunari anymore, everyone we serve a new master, defeat Mitsunari, ATTACK!!!" Yelled Hideaki, who held a gruge against Mutsunari. "Lord Mitsunari, Hideaki betrayed us, he attacking our rear lines!" Said Nobufusa, who heard Hideaki announcement. "What!, ugh we have to retreat, all units full withdraw!!!" Yelled Mitsunari. However it was too late, Hideaki forces had broken through and to an attempt to save themselves, some generals including Terumoto Mori betrayed Mitsunari to save themselves. Some did stayed loyal including Nobufusa and his Quilava.

The battle was lost, as the last remaining loyal troops left the battle field, Nobufusa met up with Mitsunari in a forest near sekigahara.
"I'm sorry, but we must take separate paths." Said Mitsunari. "Don't worry about me. Go."
"I won't leave yo.." but Mitsunari stops him, "You fool, if we flee together, we will get caught, now GO!"
"Lord Mitsunari..."

A few days later, Nobufusa heard about Mitsunari capture, Kanetsugu's defeat at Avia, and the vain defence at Ueda. He has also been branded as a outlaw, so now he can't join any forces against Ieyasu, if there were any. In 1605 Nobufusa and Quilava were hiding out in a forest near Aurora, the former stronghold which was abandoned by the Tokugawa in 1603 due to a fire when Quilava wanted to show him something. "What's up Quilava?" Said Nobufusa, with a happy face, which was a facade since he was actually sad after his defeat at Sekigahara. Quilava motioned him to follow, "Sure, what do you want to show me?" They went into an underground bunker which were built by the Azai after Nobunaga forced them out at Nixstorm after Anegawa. There they find an interesting object."Quil-quilava" said... well quilava, wanting Nobufusa to touch the object. "Ok, I trust you Quilava" said Nobufusa, althrough concern, trusting his friend. As Quilava was giving Nobufusa the object, which on closer inspection was a stone with several famous crests including the Azai and the Oda crests, the object burned Nobufusa hand.

"Ow! What the... I think you heated this up haha.." joked Nobufusa, who noticed that Quilava looks serious. "Wait you meant to.. AUGH MY HAND!!" When Nobufusa looked at his hands he saw that it was becoming to resemble an Quilava paw with the fur and the fingers merging. "What the.." said a very surprised Nobufusa as his body was becoming shorter along with legs and his other hand becoming very similar to Quilava. His body is also getting the blue-cream color fur with red spots that Quilava have, he was also getting hotter, but not because of his fur as the heat was coming from the inside. He was forced to go down on his hands, now paws, as his spine were realigned. After his body became similar to an Quilava, his head begun the same transformation. His hair changed color to an dark blue color and his ears were becoming shorter. His eyes were also changing shape so he had to close his eyes. He also started to get dizzy and then he fainted.

When Nobufusa woke up, he felt like his senses got sharper and more clearer, he also felt like something heavy was crushing him. It was Quilava, it fell asleep on him, probably waiting on him to wake up, though this happens time to time. "Hey Quilava," said Nobufusa quietly, "WAKE UP!!!" And then he yelled. After yelling, Quilava woke up, "Man you're still loud even as a Quilava, oh hey you're awake." His voice was similar to his own, only somewhat younger. "Ah my head hurts." Said Nobufusa holding his head. "It'll go away, I think, I never saw this before." Said Quilava who looks very happy. "Why did you do it though?" Asked Nobufusa, "I didn't want to risk you getting capture like Lord Mitsunari," answered Quilava, "Plus I wanted to see your reaction" "Yeah right" said Nobufusa who put on a happy face, which was somewhat genuine, but was still shaken by the mention of Mitsunari. "Hey you made a somewhat real smile for once, haven't seen you smile like that since Cragspur." Said Quilava smiling. "Yeah it feels good plus I can do this!" Said Nobufusa getting his fire started on his back which didn't burned him due to his fur being fireproof. "So what do we do now?" Asked Nobufusa. "Well there some faraway regions we can go to, it might be fun." Said Quilava who learned this since their self exile after hearing some rumors about Nobunaga. "Really now, new regions, hahaha alright lets go, heard Johto is a good place for sight seeing." Said an interested Nobufusa "You know, you still don't have an name, what about Suke, so that we have a way to identify our selves" "Sure, it sounds nice" said Quilava who is now known as Suke.
