Description This is a resin 32mm scale (though taller-than-human) "Ogroid" model from Brother Vinni's "Postapoc Sandlot" line of minis.  I figure it's intended to serve as a proxy Ogryn for Imperial Guard forces in Warhammer 40K, but he looks like he'd be right at home roaming the post-apocalyptic wastelands (especially with the scrap pipe melee weapon, and scrap armor made from tire treads and such).

I suppose that, in order to use this for Fallout RPG, the obvious route would have been to try to paint him up as a super mutant, but I figure that the wasteland could use a little more not-so-super in the way of mutants.  I mean, I think we've got enough yellow-green guys who are oh-so-conveniently totally immune to radiation, and despite originally having originated with "The Master" in California, keep somehow popping up in every single Bethesda game even if it's on the east coast.  Old Fallout used to have dwarves and plain-ol' mutants of several varieties.  I might as well expand on that.  This guy is just BIG.  And bald.  Chalk it up to several generations of mutations (most useless or detrimental, but this guy lucked out) in the wasteland.

Anyway, it's a fun mini -- multi-part resin but easily assembled -- with nice details here and there, and the "power fist" fits in well enough with the Fallout aesthetic.  (I decided to paint it up yellow with caution stripes with the idea that originally it was some sort of retro-futuristic construction tool.)
