I know how you feel with my fanfic writing. I have to everyday do section by section of paragraphs in the story four months until I finished this one tale. The moment I'm done, I plopped down and was able to relax and continue onto the new one.

The artist's life in a nutshell...XD I TOTALLY struggle with this as a writer, too--it's probably the main reason why I still haven't uploaded anything on this site or on FanFiction.net yet.
