Was this particular fungus illuminated through a clearing in the tree canopy? The lighting resembles three point source lighting.

Yes to the lighting through the clearing, but there was more overall light that I dimmed down

Dimming the colors would explain the high color saturation despite increasing the black point, nicely done.
