I adore this piece.
The composition is beautiful with all aspects of the photo working in harmony.
It is quite focused on the lil shrooms, though I would have tried to get a little to the right in focus as well, just to add more detail around it and it softens the edge of the focus so it isn't quite so abrupt.
There doesn't appear to be any shaking with the camera, which having only one hand to take it with is quite impressive. The fingertips are out of focus which isn't technically correct but it look good with the photo, so you broke the rules but in a good way.
There aren't any color spots that show up or distract from the main subject.
It is edited and a really good way for the photo, making it feel as if should be a cover for a magical themed book.
The lighting seems like it was kinda dark which works well with the feel of this image and the shine on the fingernail isn't to distracting.
Overall, great photo. Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this! I really wanted to get more in focus but with the macro setting it is extremely precise with where to focus

It probably depends on the photo. It might also be distracting on this one. When it comes down to it its just a matter of trial and error, seeing what works and doesn't work. As for this shot I think the way you took it with the fingertips works well.
