Description I don't normally explain my thought process and leave it to the imagination, but this time I want too show my insight. I'm not so well at explaining my work but here goes. I feel this one ties in strongly with a visual interpretation of emotion. To me this image has a feeling of fear and uncertainty. The umbrella represents our struggle with our emotions sometimes which is why it is transparent. Her face being blurred to me shows the beauty of that journey though, being raw and imperfectly human.

5 Stars all!

I am not particularly a fan of photography, but once in a great while you get that breath-taking photographer with uzzles of experiences. I think you may be that photographer.

The face isn't as sharp as I would desire it, but you're the photographer. The shading is spot-on and her face exhibits fear, leaving the viewer in suspense, wondering what lies beyond the camera. Or is it the camera? Or the one holding the camera?

So, now I'll leave YOU in suspense. Wondering who or what I'll critique next.

Thanks so much! I'm really glad my photo struck a cord with you I was going with the feel of suspense and fear so I'm glad that it came though well. I wanted the face to be a little blurred though because I feel emotions are messy and rough around the edges at times. (if that makes sense >_< lol) thanks for taking the time to write this though I really appreciate it

Thank you! I'm actually glad you bring that up. I keep coming to this shot and something just resonates with me with the blurred effect. I would enjoy doing a series like this. Thanks for your comment!

Interesting concept of an umbrella containing our emotions (sometimes unsuccessfully)
