Description
Finally after many, many weeks, my first "finished" original character
. Probably you remember the last WIP I upload some months ago [link] I know it's not perfect, but It has helped me to learn many things doing it, and I've realised how many things I still have to learn. I hope you really enjoy it!

Por fín, después de muchas y muchas semanas, mi primer personaje original "terminado"
. Probablemente lo recordéis de la última versión sin terminar que subí hace tiempo [link] Se que no es perfecto, pero me ha ayudado a aprender muchas cosas, y a darme cuenta de que todavía me queda mucho camino que aprender. Espero que os guste!

Me gusta mucho!!! ya sabes que yo siempre alucino cuando veo uno de tus dibujos acabados... me encanta el fondo que has decidido hacer, el color del cielo, la ciudad detrás desenfocada en contraste con el árbol un poco más "tétrico" por decirlo de algún modo. Me ha gustado ver cómo has creado algo de la nada y te ha quedado genial, como siempre! (por cierto, el ojo es impresionante)
Y yo quiero un corsé como el que lleva! (bueno un poquito más tapado que tampoco es plan...) y una chaquetilla de esas también...

El otro día empecé un nuevo dibujo usando un poco de mi imaginación como en éste, pero esta vez he cogido algunas referencias de varios sitios para ir un poco sobre seguro y a ver si así consigo mejores resultados y me quedo del todo satisfecho

Bueno, a mi me encanta tal y como está, y es bueno que lo dejases cuando veías que ya no querías dedicarle más tiempo, sino aborreces un dibujo y hay que disfrutarlo!
Es jodido dibujar sin referencias, sí, pero está bien la libertad. Yo lo que hago cuando quiero hacer algo así es coger referencias de poses, texturas, para ver cómo tengo que dibujar pero luego hacerlo a mi aire, y está bien el saber que no hace falta que por ejemplo el sujeto se parezca a la referencia, simplemente hacerlo como quieras, pero claro, es difícil, sobre todo si intentas hacer algo realista, siempre necesitas referencias aunque solo sean de apoyo.
Ya tengo ganas de ver ese dibujo del que hablas...

Está claro, dibujar algo realista sin usar ni una sola referencia está sólo a la altura de muy pocos, la gran mayoría de artistas reconocidos usan referencias tanto de poses, expresiones, texturas y demás cosas. Lo bueno es crear a partir de esas referencias algo completamente nuevo usando la imaginación con ayuda del artista que podamos llevar dentro

que bueno ver tu primer OC, me gusto mucho la animacion porque se puede ver los cambios de direccion que tuvo la pintura desde su concepcion.
Me gusta ese aire que tiene entre Aeon Flux y Underworld.
Espero ver mas de tu caracter.

Gracias!, intentaré hacer esto más a menudo. Eso sí, usando también referencias para que no resulte tan pesado o complicado. Necesito ejercitar mi imaginación, pero crear de la nada cuesta demasiado

haha, yes!, the body isn't as detailed as the face. I could have work a little more on it, but I wanted to finish it once and for all

Very nice painting! I don't know if you used references or not, but I can't see any issues with your rendering of her face/hair. If there was one thing that bugged me though, it is that her face and hair are nice and sharp and in focus, whereas her body, from the shoulders down, is quite blurred and in some places has a strange glow. Sharpen up the edges and I think it could cause the whole image to pop with more realism.

Well, that's because I usually spent more time with the face than with other parts like the body or the background 
Face, hair and probably 90% of the picture are painted without using any picture as reference. I only used a reference for the corset, because I didn't like the one I was making up, so I looked for some examples and I copied the one I liked, but changing some things like the front slit, and I also took some references for the sky
