Baloo-*smirk*You know prestirce bears never really wear cloths.

He comes closer to his female counter part.As his arms try to reach around her, the cave bear is stop by one female hand.

Rebecca-*giggle*Nice try alpha male. But where toon bears. So we don't count.

Baloo- Oh... well... can we go to the cave at least?

Rebecca *flirty smile* Sure... and we can pretend we hadn't discovered fire yet so we can find other ways to keep ourselves warm.

Baloo- Now that's my language. *embraces her and takes a giggling Becky to the cave, bridal style*

What do you mean taking to the cave bridal style?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to dth1971 [2009-03-14 06:23:22 +0000 UTC]

I mean, carrying her the same way a groom takes his bride inside their new home, or the honeymoon room at the hotel, after the wedding.

So why didn't Baloo get a chance to marry Rebecca in the TaleSpin cartoon series?

Guess they were into their boss-employee relationship, but there were hints of true affection between them.

Remember a 1994 issue of now defunct Disney Adventures magazine which featured Baloo as a cavebear on the cover with John Goodman as Fred Flintstone from the live action Flinstones movie of the same year?

No, that magazine wasn't here in Mexico.

But were there ever Mexican Disney comics?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to dth1971 [2009-02-25 07:35:48 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, a few Disney comics are edited here in Mexico, but only with the most classic characters (Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Minnie...)

dth1971 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2009-02-25 15:42:41 +0000 UTC]

Does Mexico also has the usual Looney Tunes comic books? As well as the usual superhero comic books (Superman, Batman, Spiderman, others)?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to dth1971 [2009-02-25 18:22:08 +0000 UTC]

Comic books... we have Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Daredevil, X-Men, Justice League, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, The Avengers, and some special editions and events (like World War Hulk or Civil War).

Sadly, no more Looney Tunes' comic books these days; we still get Cartoon Network-themed comics, The Simpsons, Archie and some others.
