Description
In case anyone demands an explanation, here it is.Condorito, created by Chilean cartoonist Rene Ríos aka Pepo, is Latin America's best known anthro. He's well known in several countries and a cultural icon.
Condorito stars a bi-weekly comic book; basically, each comic is a collection of jokes, all of them with a family-friendly language even if some are teen and adult oriented. Condorito lives in the fictional town of Pelotillehue and, besides his nephew Cone, is the only anthro around, but he's accepted as any person. Like Huckleberry Hound, Condorito can play any role or job depending on the story/joke, so he can be a gangster (Condorpone), a scientist (Condor Edison), a superhero (Bat-Condor), an apache (Sitting Condor), a German (Condor Otto) and so.
Condorito, identities and various jobs' aside, has some trademark characteristics; he's usually unemployed, and when working depends on his wits rather than effort or talent to conserve the job; he's a loyal friend, witty, resourceful, and has two weaknesses; soccer, and women (despite having a semi-formal girlfriend, Yayita). Despite being the only adult anthro in a human world, Condorito has a moderate success as a womanizer.

Until you did Condorito jokes, I did not enjoy the character as the magazine was only in Spanish, a language I am not fluent in,(I have NO aptitude for foreign languages). No English.

A Condorito puedo conciderarlo un viejo, querido y cercano amigo ¡Ha acompañado la infancia a generaciones y lo sigue haciendo! (Mi sobrina de 9 años lo adora 
Infinitos recuerdo y uno más pero propio: en el barrio donde crecí, en un punto en el centro de Lima solía ir a una vieja peluquería donde uno de sus discretos placeres era poder leer un Condorito mientras te trasquilaban el pelo. De hecho en esa peluquería sólo tenían Condoritos. Y felizmente, y a pesar de los muchos años, la última vez que estuve allá (para asistir a un show de Travis y R.E.M.), pude ver que la vieja peluquería de barrio aún existe, mantiene su vieja colección y este viejo cliente no pudo evitar sentarse a disfrutar de su sana lectura mientras se cortaba el cabello

By the way, you haven't had dealings with "highdarktemplar", have you ? His speech is full of profanity and I got a good earful of it when I hit a raw nerve referring to some of Condorito's strips as "sick". I might add that the humans in his strips are crummy-looking. He always looks splendid, but the humans ... they get tiresome fast, and especially when I could not find an English translation !
Anyway, I could not placate him. More profanity. Then he blocked me. I left it at that ...

ese condorito es unico por que en una sola pagina lo puedes ver como empresario,mendigo y Encarcelado ademas de que con sus amigos Don Chuma,pepe cortisona,ungenio,yayita,doña treme,comegato,huevoduro,el che,entre otros han vivido sin fin de situaciones

Je, yo llegué a memorizarme comics enteros de chistes de Condorito. Como luego me la pasaba contando los chistes tal cual, muchos de mis primos y compañeros se quejaron de escuchar siempre 'Llega Garganta de Lata a un bar...', así que empecé a omitir o cambiar nombres ('Llega un borracho a un bar...'

He had a semi-rival, Pepe Cortisona, basically the male Hispanic idea of "hunk".

Hehe... yeah, Don Chuma aka 'El Cumpa'. I had been an avid collector of this bird guy for several years; basically, he made the wake-up call for my comedic side.
Mmm... more like a 'hunk', Pepe is a 'jock' since he relies on his looks, money and strength to get what he wants, and has a very large ego.

Correct if I'm wrong, but - weren't the early Condorito strips tending to rely on sick humor ? I mean deformity, suicide, maiming (a man needs a diseased hand amputated, so Condorito saws off the WRONG one !)

I DO know that this "deviant" =darkhightemplar (I think) took EXTREME exception to my mentioning the above and cursed me out, accusing me of insulting Chile. He then would not accept the olive branch and did more cursing me out. Then he "deviously denied" me ! As his pics are dark and goth, I can care less. Let it end there !
