The last 'toon birthday' card is for a British-American production, created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network, this series first premiered on May 3, 2011, with a mash-up of rejected characters that he had created for various commercials, meaning the whole cast combines multiple animation styles, going from traditional 2-D to puppetry, and ranging from humanoid animals to inanimate objects, with pretty much anything in the show being a potential character... and in fact, the so-called inanimate objects often get their own lines and even special episodes.

The main protagonist is a blue cat and his best friend-adoptive brother, a pet goldfish who grew feet and joined the family. While they’re the main magnets for disasters and bizarre occurrences, this extends to the rest of the family, and, to a lesser extent, to their classmates and neighbors. The series as a whole has been praised as highly imaginative and surrealistic, and a clever children’s comedy that parents enjoy as well, like how the protagonists, being relatively 'normal' guys, make all kind of cynical yet logical observations about everyone around, essentially becoming audience's surrogates. Also, while most of the show is weird/crazy, the series still has some nice character development, with the protagonist even getting to date the girl he loved since the start of the series, and going from a goofy, irresponsible and cynical kid to a… still goofy and cynical kid with some honest bravery and kindness. The show also has a spin-off comic, and there’s plans for a feature film.

So, Happy Birthday, Guys, and let’s hope the cake isn’t alive, or the party will turn awkward.
