It's on Fanfiction Net. I don't have the name right now.

So that's what started it all. *Picks up penlight* Looks like a variation on the pocket transmogrifier, invented in 1987. This baby is telepathically operated, whatever you want to change your target into, just think about it and pull the trigger. This little baby is even handier than that one; with its pen shape, you could easily make an escape from any unpleasant situation. I assume Gadget has it back in her lab?

They should hold on to it, just in case of an emergency. There may be something popping up that a human could do better than a mouse.

Or a large scale repair job, or racing the clock with a console sequence that needs to be finished quickly or something explodes, or if some very savvy old enemy of Kim's had wired their base's security system to detect entrance by mice, chipmunks, rats or flies. Other than situations like that, they should be able to stay in their new forms permanently.

Another piece by you I never saw before ! Just how affected these fan-fics are with Gadget's scientific expertise ... One, never finished, had her accidentally transport Fievel's sister from the past century into her own time -and then they find out how sexually uninhibited she is !

Gadget and Co. never interacted with the human world. Humans knew nothing of the Rescue Rangers. Only animals and mummies and such ever did.

True, except with Professor Nimnul; he actually was aware of The Rescue Rangers and how much they messed with his plans.

I-I forgot that. I was thinking of Chordane and how unaware he was of his own pet Fat Cat's criminal masterminding things himself. Once Chordane went to prison, Fat Cat no longer had to maintain a secret identity. (origin story of the RR).
It's like the pet cat of these James Bondish villains. Wouldn't it be wild if after Bond clobbered the big guy in the easy chair, his pet turned out to be the true mastermind, using the bulky man as a puppet ?

Ron- Sure. One of my best is the 'Naco', the perfect fusion of 'nacho' and 'taco'. It's so good I sold it to my favorite Tex-Mex's fast food chain, and now it's the most sold meal in the menu.
