Babies wear diapers.
Old Men have beards. (Well i guess the leader of the Smurfs wears a beard as an emblem of his authority ,as well as a different color hat.)
Mummies are wrapped in bandages. Actually many mummies i've seen were unwrapped and quite gaunt, brittle, and oft with exposed bones. Some were virtually no more than bones wrapped in burlap and tied together with ropes. The preservation process was very poor.
