This is just awasome! I'm just starting to learn 3D modeling and, although one should stay motivated with the gradual accomplishments along the way, is watching stuff like this that inspires you to start in the first place. Congrats!
PS: Just as a curiosity...how much time does this take to make? and where do you start...a drawing, a rough sketch?

The model in ZBrush took about 1 week to create
This one started directly in 3D, inside ZBrush.

Dunno what it is about this design, but it's just awesome straight up. Clean lines, great simple pose, nice attitude and hell, I even like the boots XD

not only good with anatomy, but but the cloth on the pants. and the pose. it takes a good time to be able to work out poses like that for me

This technique is great for creating a master for a mold.

I am interested in having some of my work done, Not to be nosy but could you send me a note and give me an idea as to how much something like this would cost to do? What is he, about 6" or 7" tall? The surface is so smooth too, is that the way he came, or did you need to do some sanding? Can I ask who printed it for you? Sorry about all the stupid questions, just getting really interested in rapid prototyping/3-D printing every since I heard about it! Thanks in advance!
