Description
So, in class we are working on a design project where we have to depict a colony. My take is a traditional sci fi colony in an earth like planet. I am also interested in not-so-friendly environments but we are currently in the exploration stage where we have to do a bunch of these and see what can we come up with. This is one of my faves so far.Photoshop + Cg Textures.

Beautiful scenery, I love it. The building in the background reminds me of Halo yet again, I love the blue as always haha, the mist makes it really cool as well

I think Halo has great material, especially the latest games. The concept art is wonderful. For me, everything about Halo is incredibly epic, except the game

Man you work fast, amazing job. Are you creating these trees right from scratch or with a brush?

I sometimes work with only brushes but textures help a lot sometimes. For this one I wanted to use textures but I found that I did not like how they looked at all so I just painted over them. I then proceeded to make my own brushes that I felt would work well for a jungle setting and I used them on the painting.
