My submission for the ¨Radical Racer¨Contest.

For this contest I imagined a character that was evil, possesed by an Alien dark force that would stop at nothing to achieve his goals. An ex space pirate and smuggler by the name of Ethan Molineaux, encountered a strange alien artifact in an uncharted planet. By activating it, he was not killed but somehow changed in the process, fusing his body with his combat armor and altering his biological composition to depend on the Alien artifact - The Vermillion Compass - as a source of energy and fuel.

Commandeering one of the fastest experimental vessels and customizing it to his liking, the now deceased Ethan Molineaux races through the galaxy aboard the ¨Black Shard¨. This stolen craft is now also powered by the same alien source as Molineaux and packs a red plasma engine that distorts the physical space around the ship to propel itself with uncanny speed across any race track.

Only the Harbinger knows what unthinkable and maddening riches and goals the compass points him to.
