Do you think it was caused by Wendigo?

I am frankly not sure Cyrus. I always believed that the SOUR SITE, the Indian Burial Ground was solely responsible for the unfortunate events that followed once the place was used. I was my belief that the Wendigo was TRYING to stop them from reaching the site to bury his son there. Now I am not sure if that was to stop them from using the site or to test their tenacity and see if they are worthy to use it on a human. Either way, I thought he was the pawn and not the Chess-Master.

In the book it said that a wendigo soured the ground and cursed it since.
And would you consider Gage, Timmy, Rachel, Gus from the sequel, the punk from the sequel etc. to be "zombies" or "ghouls" or are they possessed by demons and more in tune with the things from REC or like the deadites?

Very interesting. I would have love to see what King's version of the Wendigo would be like. I don't remember much of it, just that it was a pretty damn big creature.

But do you think the dead humans buried there including Gage to Gus in the film adaptation's sequel were possessed by the Wendigo?

Hrrrmm. In my humble opinion I believe that the Wendigo is another separate entity. I think that the Indian burial ground is the nexus to allow either demons or phantasms to posses the corpses offered to them. I am not sure what the role of the Wendigo is, weather to help or to prevent people reaching the site. However, I don't believe that these reanimated beings such as Timmy, Rachel or Gus are not zombies in the traditional (Walking Dead / Night of the Living Dead) form - as in the dead coming back to life roam the world to consume for their own survival. But instead I would put them in a place closer to a Deadite that involves a demon or a ghoul that takes possession of a body - albeit a dead one instead of a live one as seen in Evil Dead- to serve a diabolical purpose.

I'm sure other demons or spirits possessed the animals with some other humans but i think Gage, Timmy and Gus were possessed by the master demon himself since Gage did ate a bit of his mother after he killed her (Wendigos are cannibalistic you know), hell even Gus had a ravenous appetite for meat like a Wendigo would. Hell i think the punk in PS 2 with the movie starlet with Rachel were possessed by other demons.
Hell i think the Wendigo knew some secrets once it possessed Timmy and Gage to Gus especially how the cop knew about the bad things that bully punk did, how Timmy knew about cheating wives and Gage knew about Judd's wife.
And do you agree that you can't kill zombies with morphine?
