Zeus kissing random ladies? Sounds about right. Ironically, despite his wife Hera being the goddess of marriage Zeus does A LOT of adultery with mortal women no less (and occasionally a goddess too.) I am pretty sure Hercules in the mythology was a result of Zeus being a cheating scumbag.

yup, in the original story, persefamone is in the fields then all of a sudden hades comes out of the ground on a flying chariot and grabs her. then he keeps her locked up and gives her whatever she wants. then she secretly eats 6 pomegranate seeds. then her mom wants her back but if you eat anything in the underground you can't leave. so then Hermes (messenger god) suggests a compromise, she will stay in the underworld 6 months of the year and 6 months above since she ate 6 seeds. her mom is Demeter (goddess of agriculture) so she's sad 6 months of the year since her daughter is gone, so the weather is cold. and that is why we have seasons! or at least, by the greeks standards
