To me it seems like the cropping makes the picture a bit unbalanced. See the shoulder, it is like a big negative area opposite the details in the face, hands and smoke it self.
Unless the picture is supposed to carry a message, I think it would look better if the eye was closer to the vertical centerline.
But what do I know I'm not professional or anything.
