The masterful detail in the waves so powerful and real while looking at this I can hear the crashing thunder they are making. Such an epic sense of drama the composition is wonderful. You have a true gift for depth perspective color and texture. The way you work is so dynamic breathing life into the image. I am honored you liked my work and added it to your favorites. Thank you.Β

Thanks for the fave for 'Time Squared' and it lead me to your awesome work. I loooove how painterly it looks which is no easy task digitally. I come from the wet stuff and haven't managed to achieve this yet digitally to look so natural. It reminds me so much of an acrylic painting commission I did for a Boat Captain who experience 30ft wave surges coming home from Oil rigs.Β
Only out of respect for a fellow artist is there a layer border showing top left around the egg shaped cloud? Might be an easy fix. I leave artefacts all the time having stared too long at the screen.Β

What is the media for this? You talk about painting but then have a hashtag for digital... is it a combination? I am still trying to understand how digital art works. I am not sure what it entails. This is amazing though and I love the water effects, I am right now trying to imagine how I could recreate such effects with pen or graphite, or the pastel I have recently been exploring. This is amazing and I love it.Β

That is simply amazing.. there must be a special photo shop for this kind of thing.. I just have like an adobe photoshop and it is just a photo editor I think. I love the idea of this though I will have to look into it more.Β Β

For one, the director made NOTHING but comedies in New Zealand! This was his American debut! Second, the comedy totally ruins dramatic scenes! The whole film was entirely unbalanced! I hated how it mocked and played-up-for-laughs scenes from Thor's previous appearances! It totally changed many of my favorite characters like Hela (making her into Odin's daughter when she is supposed to be Loki's daughter like in the comic and real mythology) and Fenrir!
(The decision to make Hela related to Thor, as opposed to Loki as in the comics and Norse mythology, came from needing more impact with Hela and Thor's final confrontation. By making the change, Pearson felt Hela became "the thing that [represents] what it is to rule Asgard, [Thor's] family, what he's been told, what he hasn't been told.")
Killing off characters for no other reason then pointless shock value! Like Odin and the Warriors Three with the makes saying that it "served to establish the threat of Hela and the danger she poses to the main characters".
Skurge is supposed to be the bodyguard to Enchantress, not Hela!
Destroying Thor's hammer and then altering his appearance like that with Director Taika Waititi adding that "stripping" the character down like this allowed him to become a refugee at the end of the film as well as wanting to use more of Hemsworth's comedic talents showcased in films like Vacation (2015) and Ghostbusters (2016) and cited Kurt Russell's portrayal of Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China as an influence on the character. WTF!?
Making Valkyrie into a Space Warrior and not an Asgardian!? Ditching Jane and her family like that with NO build-up!? WTF!?
Hulk was not even SUPPOSED to be in the film, he was just thrown in at the very last moment during production! Hulk's "fame" was blown WAY out of proportion! Also, Hulk's ASS summed the movie up in a nutshell!
In the end, Hela isn't even defeated by Thor! But by SUTUR (done by a wasted Clancy Brown)! Asgard is destroyed with the bullshit of Asgard NOT being Asgard!
The Sci-Fi elements did NOT mix with the fantasy!
The film was just a cluttered, unfocused, mess!
Sorry I went on a rant there, but this movie pissed me off being a die-hard Marvel comic fan...
