I re-read my Inuyasha manga and starting to paint this when I finished read them. Took a long time to sketch, because I confused with the pose and how to make them all fit in a single image.Character information:
* The man in the middle is Inu no Taisho (Inu Daiyoukai). He is Inuyasha's and Sesshomaru's father.
* The black haired woman is Izayoi. She is Inuyasha's mother.
* The white haired woman is Irasue. She is Sesshomaru's mother.

Absolutely gorgeous!
A bit off-topic: One thing I can't stand about reading fan fics with InuPapa and SessMom is the typical "jealous/bitter ex-wife" and "he cheated on her" plots.Β
I mean, come on....It's not that uncommon in that era for a lord to have multiple wives. Thankfully an author by the name of 'forthright' published some refreshing takes on the matter.
Anyway, lovely artwork!Β
PS. My name for Sesshomaru's mom is Kisara. InuKimi doesn't sit too well with me.

I wished I knew more about their dad but considering his relationship with Inuyasha's mother and why he gave his sons the opposite swords really explains it all.

ok so out of the blue; theaory, does anyone else think that inu yasha's mom looks like sesshomaru's mom and that maybe things ere getting bad;boring for inu daiyoukai and when he met inu yasha's mom he thaught of her as somewhat like human version of his wife in appearince yet her attitude was different;fresh, and because he loved human that why he had an affair with her

In the actual manga and anime, Izayoi and Sesshomaru's mother don't really look similar at all. It's just how this artist drew them.

Ah, actually her name didn't appear in manga (she has no official name). But when I search her on internet for a reference..I found that name. It's seems that people (fans) call her with that name, so I used that name too in the description. ^^

Nice job, if i'd done this i'd've put a crescent moon insteadof a full moon, cause it seems as though the crescent moon is the family crest (if that makes any sense)

Thank you so much! Ah, at first I thought to put a crescent moon too, but I saw many of Sesshoumaru's wallpaper on internet using a full moon, and I think a full moon will make the artwork have more 'powerful impact' than a crescent, so that's the result. ^_^
