I did a duo painting of my two characters, Dide and Kilda, one about their childhood relationship and the other about their adult relationship. I wanted to create a believable background and make the mood with just lighting and colors. I had a nostalgic feel for the Childhood painting, while I had a more muted/neutral look for the Adulthood painting. It is to show that while their relationship and childhood wonder has changed, that doesn't mean they can't be there for one another. And even when the word isn't as colorful, they still hold color close to their hearts (through their clothes visually).
