Very cool VTOL design. So what's your workflow like? It almost looks like your integrating 3D modeling a photos? It's a great look - attractive and convincing.

Thanks. The whole process is a combination of heavily photo referenced digital painted and 3D design. I actually split the art duties with my wife :icon kat-a-pult: to get the over all effect. Hope hope to eventually have a step-by-step tutorial of our process posted here.

The similarity to the V-22 was totally intentional, but once I was done building the model in 3D I was sort of shock to realize how much it resembled the Serenity, too!

I love the design. Hope we can see those F-35 tailess variants, the B-52y and all the nice stuff on the profiles on book 1.

I'm really hoping the B-52Y will make an appearance in Book 2, too. I've written it into the script a few times, but then for various reasons it always gets cut. Book 3 perhapse? Also, in Book 2 the vehicle profile section will be all about ground power --tanks, armor vehicles, power armor, and mechs. Maybe I'll post some previews soon.
