I did not say nazism was communism I just said that both were forms of socialism economic wise. They may be labeled as left/right wings but if you look at it realistically both were similar (at least soviets and nazi germany) in terms of repression, police state and forced labour camps. I certainly did not see social equality in soviet rule that is the supposed mark of left wing outlook. I may be wrong though.

True, but in all honesty, Hitler's economic plans were designed to beat Stalin. But unlike nazi-germany, in the USSR all compangies were under government control.
The repression, police state, labor camps etc are signs of a dictatorship, which they both were. They used the same means, however to achieve different ends.
And you may not have seen it, but during the USSR he people had some form of social equality, even if they were all poor, excluding the politicians ofcourse. After the USSR fell, the common man missed the social security of the the USSR.
But you also have to look at it with a historic perspective, it was a time of crisis and people, who didn't have much to begin with had even less. Agreed under Hitler there were several social programs, but they were either to get votes or support or to prepare Germany and Europe for total war.
Though I must apologize that I will no longer respond. Don't get me wrong I am not giving up, but don't want to go into a Hitler/Stalin socialism debate on Deviantart, it's not why I come here, plus not to forget that as long as this debate continues, I am in full technicallity condoning Barack Obama to be compared with the genocidal maniacs called Adolf and Joseph, which I personnaly find a gross overstatement.

Ok, no problem. My parents had to go through PRL period and I agree- there was a certain social equality amongst the poor (ei. 90% of the nation) but the upper circles of Russia have always been composed of large quantity of Jewish people(compared to national population ratio) ever since the Marxist revolution, Lenin being part Jewish himself. A kind of reverse race superiority image of nazi Germany
Agreed, obviously the Hitler-Obama comparisons are more satirical or draw comparison on a specific issue/future of America rather than being literal.

I commend you for not being afraid to say what you want to say. If you are a Nazi, then you should be able to say you are a Nazi. Doesn't mean you should go around killing Jews, though. If you are a Communist, go ahead and SAY it - you have many comrades all over the world. If you are a Democrat, Republican, pro- or anti-abortion, for goodness sake, people don't often say where they stand enough - and because they don't, they are overshadowed by those who do have the balls and resources to say what they want to say.
