This is excellent. The colors, lighting effects and sources, and objects are well defined. Everything blends together nicely. This was worth the wait, mate.
Keep up the good work!

Awesome stuff man. I'd recommend some radiosity lighting, it would make this look better. And the lamp in the corner has a big spot of light above it, which looks very unnatural. Other than that, this rocks.

Although a good render and jeleous as I am, I don't think it compares to the quality of a Cinema 4D render.
Which might I add, for some unknown reason has not been seen a fraction of the amount of times as your piece!
Ask me why........

yeah i seen it already...and commented...it may not compare to a Cinema 4D render because i'm only new at 3d and i was trying to fake radiosity...
as for your piece, your render wasn't all that good...the shadows that you have are way too dark...although the pic isd fairly decent, the lighting could use a fair bit of work..
and, -10 favs???

Yes. Mean I am!
But the lighting on my piece is perfect. Evenly distributed and the shadows are as accurate as daylight itself.
Look around you, in the light, things don't cast half as many shadows as you would think.
No hard feelings, because I really like your piece.
BUT, mine is better.

Hey, not being nasty, just stating the facts. you're image looks washed out, and the shadows are so dark, especially under the table. it looks as if you've taken ambient intensity completely off, and forgot to put a fill light in..
Just giving some constructive criticism.

Cinema has no ambient intestity.
The image is exactly the way I wanted it to be. Seriously.

i'm not saying its bad...i'm just saying it has tiny flaws that most people won't even notice!
i've only been working with 3d for about 7 months...i know i have a long way to go

and; for the four hours I spent making this piece, it barely touched the professional quality and lighting technique that I can touch on when I have days to complete a project.
Giving that I do this for a living!

awesome work, what types of 3D programs do you use? do you do any animation? you left me a comment saying i was wrong and lightwave isnt the hardest 3D program to use, well i was exagerating, but what is your take on the different programs?
