This is a photo manipulation I did for a digital imaging class I'm taking.

I don't necessarily have the same political feelings as the statement this makes, I just thought it'd be an interesting concept. I'm not trying to start some crazy political debate on DeviantArt with this, and I'm certainly not trying to offend anyone; this is meant to be in good fun.

Either way, thank god I live in a country where I can publish this kind of material with no consequences. Hopefully manipulating US currency for artistic purposes isn't inherently illegal.

List of changes to the real $1 bill (see if you can spot them without reading this: )

1) At the top of the bill, "Federal Undeserved Note"
2) Below that, "Socialist States of America"
3) Changing the "LEGAL TENDER" notice
4) Insertion of the Chrysler logo on the left
5) Replacing Washington's portrait
6) Replacing Washington's name
7) At the bottom of the bill, "One Bailout"
8) On the right of the bill, replacing "Washington, D.C."
9) Replacing the US Treasury Dept. seal overlay with the GM logo (took a long time to remove the original overlay.)
