Two more OCs!! Shell was actually my very first Hollow Knight OC bless,, she's a ladybug while Gulch is a smaller parasa moth!!

Shell is pretty shy of most bugs, though after the knight finds her a few times she's quick to warm up to them. She hangs out in different places all over Hallownest trying to find new things to make shields out of- and she even gives the knight one upon first meeting them! She absolutely refuses to venture into Deepnest or the Abyss, claiming they're way too scary for her, no matter what kind of materials may be in there.

Gulch is a peaceful mother warrior who used to be part of a great moth tribe, they all resided in a hidden area in Greenpath, now dubbed the Secret Garden. Centuries ago their home was cut off from the rest of the world due to a rock slide that sealed them all in, but then many years later another rock slide opened the entrance once more, allowing the moths to reconnect with the rest of Hallownest. The tribe prepared to venture out, all curious to find out what this world outside their garden was like, but Gulch wanted to stay behind. They had a bad feeling about going outside, though the rest of the tribe paid no mind to their warning and left Gulch alone. Since that day Gulch hasn't seen nor heard from a single member of the tribe, and they assume the worst has happened to all of them.

The Secret Garden is a beautiful place full of all kinds of plants and creatures, Gulch waters every single plant in the garden every day without fail, and they also tend to the creatures that visit and make sure they're all content. Gulch loves to hum and sing calming songs while they do work around the garden, these songs are quite magical and calm everything in the area, making even normally hostile creatures docile. Tons of different creatures from all around Greenpath show up in the garden, you can see something new almost every time you visit, which could make hunter's journal entries easy... If Gulch wouldn't interfere should you try to hurt any of the creatures around. After attacking a certain amount of creatures in the garden Gulch will give you a few warnings before deciding to put a stop to your antics by force. Despite their calm humming and peaceful outlook, they're far from an easy opponent to defeat. The cape they wear is actually a pair of wings they can use to fly, once the fight starts they usually fly just out of your reach and use their longnail to quickly lunge at you before backing out again. One of their other attacks is flying up and singing, summoning random creatures from the garden to swarm you. Once you defeat them they lean on their longnail to help them stand, before dashing off into the sky without another word. Once they're gone the creatures in the garden are no longer friendly, attacking you just like any other area. If you lose the fight Gulch will be friendly again next time you visit, telling you they hope you learned your lesson.

Gulch and Shell have met once before, Shell wandered into the garden and helped Gulch with watering plants and taking care of the creatures for a little while, she thinks Gulch is lonely and hopes to visit them again soon!! After she tells you about her encounter with Gulch, you can later visit the garden and see them talking, but if Gulch has been defeated at that point you just see Shell there and she's upset that they're gone : (
