Description
I did not model the mech (from Battletech the Movie: [link] , -my BIG Thanks to Col. Gooseman and all!), the missile and helicopter were free models from turbosquid.com. Part of the audio is by DarkspARCS, -also with Battletech the Movie.I did audio, sound effects, animation, rigging, lighting, materials, Mental Ray rendering (one mr Omni light), Combustion effects, Flash player (Thanks to always for the preloader!
), and composite work in After Effects.(The Glass Butterfly was spared as the target, by special request

Looks great! I bought Battletech miniature game one year ago but I don't have already painted all the mechs. I am a lazy person. But maybe someday I get them all painted and then I could upload a photo of them to dA.

Ah, I can't believe I missed this the last time I visited your gallery. Great work! Choppers are just like skeet shooting for 'Mechs!
One minor, minor detail. I noticed that the missile doesn't rotate around its z-axis. I could be wrong, but don't missiles spin in flight like arrows do?

Looks good! Love the gold armor plating! Gives it that 'late night' feel. (maybe the glow from a crushed and burning tank?)
I see there is alot of comments here already and hope I am not just repeating someone else; the only thing that bugs me is that there seems to be a few frames missing right when the missile launches. It kind of just 'appears' out in front of the Catapult. Maybe from compressing it a little to be more 'net friendly?

Thank You for the feedback! And, Good Eye! You are right, I compressed down to 12 fps, from 30 fps, and the animation got darker (loss of detail). An area I'd like to have done better with
