Wanted to practice on getting the likeness and general face proportions/form. Had a lot with this because it was such a loose painting
had a lot of trouble with his lips - i kept drawing them how i THOUGHT they should look like from studies of generic lips - rather than his 
... think i conquered it though and managed to paint what I saw yay

Its a mixture really. But mainly charcoal brushes and some rough round brushes. thanks
