You are one of the best writers I know. Just reading your stuff, I get pulled in and can see the imagery so clearly it's like a movie playing in my head. And you make everything so REAL, like this could actually happen or I'm living in that world. It's just that breathtaking...

why is articuno so small compared to moltres and zaptos? is it simply that its a young specimen?

Just too cool for words. The whole Poke evo concept has me enthralled, the little bits of story and biology here and there have me hooked! Keep up the good work

it says kanto. where is that in relation to our world, like what country/continent is "kanto" in?

oh, i see. but not all 151 of the original pokemon live in japan right? the islands dont seem to have that kind of variety to support so many larger animals

Sorry I didnt mention, the pokemons world isnt exactly the same as ours, their earth is about twice the size as ours but the landmass has formed very similarly, more land mass means more space for lager species to evolve, plus Japans climate is more like New Zealand because the equator is shifted compared to ours

ah, it makes so much more sense now. so we have the "real continents in addition to the pokemon continents (kanto, jhoto, hoenn).

yer, but actually the regions are actually part of Japan if you look on a real map, they make up the shape when you put it all together.

The picture is interesting and well-rendered, but it's the story that really captures the imagination and paints an amazing legend. Very thoughtful, awe-inspiring work!

I don't know.

That I said in the original image that it could have been like the photo Jonathan took, not that drawing. But forget it, I just was being comical.
See ya, josh.

I don't have premium membership so here is my "advanced critique."
Both this image & the story behind it are truely fantastic. Yet, I feel that there is one major inconsistancty between them: The angle of the photograph.
While I understand that from an artistic standpoint, It depicts what is happening in the story from a much more... inclusive angle; it implies that this picture was taken by a third party and NOT by Jonathan Oak (Who infact is IN this picture).
For a picture more accurate to your story, I would suggest a more frontview and closer picture of Articuno during this timeframe:
"I snapped wildly at the bird as it landed gracefully onto the icy ridge. the ground slightly shook and its claws hit the rock and i was frozen in awe, staring at the giant ice bird... Articuno.
My camera ran out of film as i watched it eat the offering we had given in one gulp."
Thank You for your time.

im very glad you like my picture however you are wrong, If you read a little more intently you we see that it says 'In fear my translator and i ran for cover but the boy and guide stood calmly.' the two people you see in the picture is the guide and translator, not Jonathan, he has taken a picture from a distance

Ah, I see. It seems that i read that part a little too hastily. thank you for correcting me.
