Description
Though my heart has many separate beats,
moment through separate moment,
in their core they are all connected,
as the reason and why that they beat
is you.

I've spent moments uncounted and
uncountable with you. I've been through good
and bad with you and away from you.

But being with you is like the perfect autumn,
with the wind caressing my face, the evening so
warm as to embrace me, the sun shining over
trees, a beacon of gold both welcoming and promising,

you are my reason for all seasons,
all days,
all nights,
all moments and all truths.

It would be melodramatic to assert
the world would not turn without you,
but my world turns solely to bring you back
to me.

You are my muse, my poem, my poetry.
You are my reasons and inspiration.
You are my rock.
All that I am, I am because of you.

Anything I might accomplish,
has it's being first in you.

You are my flower garden, and my rose,
and all roses belong to you by right.
You are my sunshine and my delight.

You are my girl of the forest,
and nature lives in you.

You are sweet and you are kind.

Would that I was perfect so that
I could be perfect for you.

You have made me a better person,
but I do not deserve you.

I pray to all gods I might in all my lives
begin to earn you and your love for me.

In my lowest and my highest, you are there for me,
and nothing could mean more to me.

My heart beats with the love of yours,
and I will be happy all the days of my life,
that you love me.
