I took referenceΒ from the Witch Spring 3, an offline mobile game with outstanding storyline and good controls. I find the work to be intriguing because of how the girl (sorry, I don't know her name) seemed worried, despite the bright, clean light radiating the corner of the room. The light also helps give dramatic shadows to possibly compliment the girl's sinking mood. The minimal details doesn't make the work appear stale and shifts its focus mainly on the girl. She seemed to have her main focus on her brown-haired stuffed animal and ignoring the one with pink hair. The brown-haired stuffed animal could mean she's holding in all of her vulnerable emotions close to her while the pink-haired stuffed animal could be representing outsiders or uncaring bystanders. Although the pink-haired stuffed animal is obviously doing nothing to help the girl, the size could mean how many people the girl was surrounded by and the brown-haired stuffed animal's size could be the handful of people she cares about or only accepts. Basically, I thought of the work as how one deals with stress. I find the work to be lovely and endearing.
