I definitely need to practice on Thorin more, I have difficulty of making him as majestic as he is in the movie xD I rather keep him drawing the way I have the mind image based on the book, though originally I thought Thorin to have a long beard, like probably everyone did, but I rather fell in love with his looks in the movie that I happely changed everything around to fit that.Oddly enough Martin Freeman as Bilbo was exactly what I had in mind, but I don't draw him like that merely because I find this much more pleasing to draw right now for whtever reason.
Goddamn I love Hobbits and their vests and smoking jackets and little formal coats and eeeh, they're so cute and adorable little gentlemen. Gentlehobbits.

I have a friend who's been saying for 5 years or longer that she wants a Hobbit movie with Martin Freeman as Bilbo. She was pretty amazed when they actually made that film. We think she might be slightly psychic. :'D
BTW, I love these Thorin/Bilbo pictures of yours. Your style is quite fitting for the story, I think.

You know, me and some of my friends were joking when the casting was stil open (like two years ago xD ) that you knwo who already looks like a hobbit? Martin Freeman! I don't think it was me who said that, but I've always agreed that Martin is so much of an hobbit-looking he should be one and what do you know... world agrees xD
Well, I guess I rather have a fairytale feeling right now with The Hobbit and so n... the books is so cute I ca't help it^^
