I see that many people are receiving their copy of the OKUYASU REJOICE ZINE in the mail (I haven't received mine yet *cries*) so I'm just going to go right ahead and post my contribution now! I'll wait a little bit to post it to my other media though but I enjoyed working on this piece so much! OKUYASU IS SO PRECIOUS and the fact that he had a whole entire zine centered around him made me so glad to be a part of this project.... In the anime it did show that green hair color but they got stuck with the oreo hairstyle.

Oh yeah, it sure did haha. Those color changes happen so rapidly and I just wished that the green was his default for the oreo look! I was wondering the same thing because what the hell haha? I remember stopping from reading this part to just laugh at his new look.

I've actually had this idea that between the end of Part 5 and the start of Part 6 Okuyasu became Tonio's apprentice and ultimately became a chef with his own restaurant and everything. Granted, his skills aren't on par with Tonio's (because let's face it, nobody can be that good), but he still does a good job at preparing food.

ahh This is a really delayed response but yeah! I feel that that would always work out as a great and achievable outcome for Okuyasu! I feel like he wouldn't go to college but will try his best at odd jobs and cooking haha. He's been taking care of his father and had to step up after Keicho passed away so it probably made him want to do better since Keicho isn't there to do those things anymore...

THANK YOU!!!! TBH, the info about the Okuyasu zine was kind of lowkey in the beginning stages of the project's organization and a lot of people honestly did not know about it! I was lucky enough to see a post about it on my tumblr dash back when I signed up for it though haha.
