I love your futuristic vehicles! This batch looks super-sleek and efficient - especially the group in color. Robot or AI-controlled perhaps? Is your coloring digital? Getting the reflection and shine on smooth objects like these really taxes my brain.

It's digitally coloured - I was thinking of colouring it using markers but they're back in malaysia, and i'm currently in singapore. Besides they're all dried to crisps Yeah colouring with markers involves some planning ahead, and takes up quite an amount of processing power on the human cpu. I'm thinking of taking up markers again particularly because I want to practice in this specific area. Watercolour painting involves some thinking ahead too, I should think?

Heh, dried-up markers is why I went to using more watercolors. And yes, now that I ponder it, watercolors are similar to markers in that you have to think ahead about which colors to lay down first before getting out the paints. Watercolors have an order of application which is typically light-to-dark, with time out to dry in between, unless you want to work wet-in-wet and let the colors bleed together. And then there is thinking about preserving white areas with liquid mask or friskit so that they show up later once the over-painting is dry. It's fun, but sometimes I will get halfway into a piece and realize I should have used friskit, at which point my options are limited to china white or other white paint, or fixing it digitally. Our friend, the computer.
