Templars!The story so far:
Jael: What is this? What happened?
Nico: ...
Jael: Who are you? What is all this witchcraft?!
Nico: I took you to a world ahead of your time. I saved you from certain death. I'm a knight, like you. My name is Nico. I'm a sergeant of the Knight Templars.
Jael: NO! Stay back! You're a sorceror!
Nico: ...
Jael: STAY BACK, SORCEROR! Or face death!
Nico: I'm not a sorceror. I'm just a normal person. Put down the sword, Lady Jael.
Jael: Wh...hw...How did you know of my name?
Nico: We have records. We came and took you because you were the best in your squad.
Jael: Take me back!
NIco: I cannot.
Jael: Take me back, please, sir knight! My fellow templars - they're dying! They need my help, for we must take the city...win the battle...!
Nico: If I take you back, you'll surely die. Your people were already facing heavy losses. You're the only survivor.
Jael: NO! LIAR! I'll kill you!
Nico: Put down your sword please, Jael. I'm not lying.
Jael: Take me back please...
Nico: I cannot. I need you to trust me.
Jael: ...
Nico: I will protect you, Jael. And I wouldn't do anything to harm you. Slice my throat if you must - I trust you that much.
Jael: ...
Made a few updates to the characters based on 's design uddates:
breast pocket and single row of buttons at the side to Nico's uniform added, Nico now has a device for time-travelling at the right side of his belt, and his equipments are now all white in colour, which is cooler.
A pretty straightforward angle colour sketch. Tried to draw the chainmail armor as detailed as I can just like aimee's [link] but I'm learning, haha

Nice work on the dialogue. That was the right thing to say to her. As I've heard it, back in ancient times the most solemn oath a knight could give was his own word. I think it's based upon one of Jesus' teachings against "swearing oaths", insisting instead to let your word stand upon its own. This was taken quite seriously by all knights, so much so that a knight who broke his word was considered an outlaw and a traitor to his knighthood. His head would be free for the taking for any knight that happened upon him, should they be skilled enough to part it from his shoulders.
Offering your life to someone if they don't believe you takes guts. But it's also a sign of honor, which she'll respect. I don't know if Nico's aware of that old oath, but it may have just save him a lot of time and energy convincing her.

Another great piece.
Somewhat reminds me of an old 2 page starwars fanfic i made.XD (yes, i was to lazy to finish it.
This looks like it could turn into an excellent story/comic.
Maybe you should take up writing for movies.
And maybe even aminate them...
