Elchia is a peculiar pokemon, tending toward sarcasm in a general sense with the common saying of "out of this world" popping up in conversation in response to the obvious or disbelief of facts offered up. One will come to notice that she is a touch sensitive, particularly towards comment that if he infer insult towards her knowledge. For this reason she can be a bit abrasive and even to the point of condescending, one of those pokemon where the tone means everything. Surprisingly enough she is quite fond of the naive in nature, often taking them on as a means of mentorship, because what is greater than knowledge to be bestowed on "friends". Though for someone who shares so little and places their ego first and foremost, it is hard to say she's the type to have friends, more like followers.

|| History ||

Elchia grew up in the rural areas of route six near Chargestone Cave, born to a confagrigus and klinklang. The young girl spent much of her time exploring the caves, enchanted by the floating stones and often riding them recklessly about the caves much to the chagrin of unsuspecting travelers. This interest in the electrical static and magnetism of the cave often made her wonder of the electricity within her own home and despite the rural life this didn't limit her options.

She had an extensive interest in electronics and the mechanical, her parents often finding them buying new appliances to replace the ones she had destroyed in her experimental endeavors. She needed to know how things worked but it would be some time before she learned just how to put these items of interest back together, and by that time she was often taking them back apart again to see what she could make as her parents had long ago replaced them with newer objects. In this way she came to amass quite a collection and with help from the library she learned quickly how she could use these parts to make something else, often in odd objects to decorate her room or to make rudimentary robots, not on the level on self-thinking but enough that she could send them about with simple control commands.
As she continued, Elchia came to understand that she was lacking something in her developing skills, this was when the Internet became a discovery just as she entered the last year of her primary school education there came the discovery of computers and the internet. Surprisingly this was the only object she felt didn't require her to take apart obsessively, rather she took apart the Internet, obsessively learning all she could about what made this electronic world. This led her to develop programming skills, which she applied to the room it's making them just a touch more complex as she continued through to junior high.

It wasn't until her high school years that she found a direction for her skills, having convinced her parents to allow her to attend a school in the city that specialized in training students in engineering and the computer sciences. Her parents were of course the supportive type even if they didn't quite understand her obsessively nature that left her placing value on her personal work over developing friendship with others.so when she did go it was with the promise that she would spend time getting to know others now that they would be of a similar mind to her.

However, what she found in Mistralton city aside from encouragement from the professors that noticed her well-earned skills was also the ridicule over her naivety and a certain accent that had developed in her particular area. As a result she had to develop a thick skin and learn quickly, surpassing her peers and taking special attention to changing the more obvious points of her accent. With this friendships and trust became things of issue, condescending behavior towards those who she found inferior and taking advantage where she could to manipulate others into something akin to friendship. This habit continued into college, leading her to succeed well but she lacked in some of the friendship and networking that would have been more helpful for life beyond school. This meant that when she graduated, she found herself with few options save for mention of new town that had sprung up. Elchia thought there might just be use for her skills and she made her way out there to see what could be found…
