The Rorsch Mk-4 is a weapon featured in Battlefield 2042 , introduced in Escalation season. Player can unlock the weapon by reaching tier 10 in the Battle Pass . As the name implies, it is the successor of Rorsch Mk-1 found in Final Stand expansion of Battlefield 4 and predecessor of Rorsch Mk-S8 from Battlefield 2142 .
The distinct features of the weapon is the ability to switch between single-shot, 5-round burst and automatic mode using Plus System , with High Power Capacitor for single-shot, Burst Capacitor for burst and Stream Capacitor for fully automatic.
The weapon firing their high velocity rounds with ability to damage to enemy vehicle, the downside being their charging time which make player need to calculates or compensates for each shot especially in long range or anticipates the enemy when in close-quarter combat.
The Rorsch lacks other options for barrel and magazine attachments but player still have ability to change their sights. The NVK-NXT 2X that comes by default can show the process of charging time they need for firing.
