I haven't seen Akira myself, but I'm sure that's a canny faithful rendition of a memorable scene. Nice crossover, too.

Thanks i just can not escape this movie or scene i make references to it in my own work almost all the time now. i wish i could pick something a little more unique from the movie but Tetsuo and the mutation is such an iconic stable of the anime as well as Kandea and his bike.
