Awesome as always! Your art is always amazing and you know that. Anyways, that being said, I'd like to point out a few flaws which of course, don't take away from the awesomeness of this piece, but could use a bit of attention.
First off, Cadance looks a tiny bit fake, like she has some really sharp lines that contrast with really soft edges, which makes her look a little more like a toy than a living creature. She sort of looks frozen in her position, she lacks some life.
Also, her wing is sort of misplaced. It starts too close to her neck and could be pushed back some, even if it means making it smaller. I'm just imagining her opening it up and when I see it, the wing is too far forward.
This is just a matter of my own opinion, but her ponytail is too high up on her head and she could use some hair on her neck that pulls into the ponytail. And her bangs are really short and make her head look tall. But that part was just me, I don't think it matters that much.
But other than those things I mentioned on Cadance, the rest of the drawing is PERFECT!!! It's such a cute idea and so well drawn, so much better than I could ever do! Personally I love the lighting and water in this. It appeals to me, and the fruit bats look great. It looks dark and mysterious, setting a definite sense of adventure.

Great pic! However I can´t be canon, since when Cadance was a filly the Crystal Empire was still vanished xD Anyway, I love it. The shading is amazing and the amount of details spectacular

In fact, the only part I would consider canon is Cadance's story about how she became a princess - it's really the only thing that made sense in the long run.

Such experiences would make her adept at survival in such bleak environments, making her ability to survive in the Canterlot Caves well enough to still defeat Changeling Army with Shining Armor with only a mussy mane all the more likely.
