Despite the fact that nowadays I focus my attention on illustration, lots of different animation styles, manga
, indie graphic novels and ponies 
. I never have lost or will ever deny my inspiration from the great British comics from back in the day I used to own. 
Goodness I have not picked up an issue of the Beano in five or six years its scary

I'm icelandic, never grew up with beano or knew what it was until 2-3 years ago but i instantly loved it~

You'll probably not believe me when I say I work for the company that publishes the Beano.
Granted I don't work on the Beano itself, I work in the archives. 70+ years of Beano comics to read on my breaks.
That aside, I really like your style. Its a cross between Shounen manga and classic comics of the 90s IMO.
